What do you mean 'black coming away from her'? Where is it coming away from?

Please be more specific in your information and description.

Black what? Black liquid? A black ball? A black puppy?

We need detailed info in order to help. An accurate description is needed. We can't and won't guess.

Dark brown to black discharge is normal for up to 2 days after whelping. However it should have no odor, if it smells or appears green get her to the vet immediately as it is a sign of infection.

I would get mom and pups to the vet now anyway for a check up. I like to send pups to the vet 24-48 hours after whelping.

rach1_3 does not find this helpful : very rude
Rach, first, my post wasn't rude. Your post was unclear, and I was simply asking for more details.

Second, it's against the rules of this site to give a disagree/unhelpful/reddie for factually correct information. Only factually incorrect information can be rated negatively.

If you want help than you have to be clear. We can't read your mind, we can't see what you're seeing. You have to describe it accurately so that we can give you advice.

Rach, you got your answer from shaz. Anyone else was only trying to help. Very unfair to find alty not helpful.
