    Responsibilities of a Power of Attorney
    I live in Ontario Canada, A member of my family has the Power of Attorney for my 83 year old grandmother but has moved out of the country without telling her, nor has she told my grandmothers lawyer, or my grandmothers side of the family (her sister etc.) that she has moved. Could that be because she would not have the ability to be the Power of Attorney if she's left the country? She has told my grandmother that she was going down there on Vacation...

    Hello j:

    If the relative isn't able to fulfill her duties toward your grandmother, she should be replaced with someone who can.
