    Haircut disaster
    :o Hi,
Yesterday I had my 16" hair extensions removed with the intentions of having them replaced in may.
I asked her to cut my haid SHOULDER length however she saw fit to scalp me.
I now have very short hair which barely goes into a pony tail.
Any suggestions on how I can make it look better and will extensions applied to this now look really fake as it's so short??
Please help I look like a boy!

Hair extensions can be applied to hair as short as 1 inch long. If you don't want the hair extensions to look fake or unnatural, choose a color and texture that matches your own hair.

Oh my word! This is awful. I am guessing you had glue hair extensions. The problem with these is that when you remove them your own hair is so damaged that you have to have a good cut. What the hairdressers never realise is that you would prefer your own hair to be a little out of shape and longer than scalped. My friend has hair to jaw length and she uses clip ins now, she had an awful experience similar to you with the glue extensions. With the clip ons her own hair has actually started to grow! She has a really good trick that I showed her when we worked on a photoshoot together. Clip on hair tends to come on about 8 strips. So the first two strips that sit at the base of the neck we just trim... then the next two strips of extensions we take an extra inch or two off and that's her long layer, then the next two strips above that we take yet another inch or two off and that's her middle layer. Then the last ones we cut much shorter so they are only about an inch longer than her own shortest layer. This way there isn't a huge diconnection between her hair and the extensions. Good Luck xx

My hair was a blonde with a hint of red and I mistakenly dyed it a light ash brown. Now my hair is grayish, dark brown almost black in some parts. I can't afford to have my hair stripped and I need to fix this. It is horrendous. I wanted to go back to my natural brown hair color. I have heard...

My friend put magma highlights on my hair and I hate it. He told me that it was permanent after I told him that I didn't like it. He said that the only thing that he could do was die my hair darker to take the red intensity away... so the result was black and red hair... I have died my hair...

I wanted to know if you knew how to explain a haircut. It's a long layered cut. It's the one you see that has been cut like the shape of the head at the back, but thinned out at the bottom, almost whispy. It is the newer way to cut long layers. And also what is your best advice for cutting a...
