Taking cover off Honda HS35 Snowblower
"I went to start my Honda HS35 Snowblower the other day and the recoil cord came untied and the cord came straight out. I think the recoil is fin, but I cannot seem to get the plastics covers off to get at the recoil. The top red plastic cover has four bolts and it should come right off, but I can't get it around where you put the gas in. Is there a way to take the neck off where you put the gas in? If you have any other suggestions it would be appreciated. Thanks"

I believe the main shroud is attached with 5 bolts (the 5th bolt is lower down on the right side - opposite side from the drive belt). To lift the shroud over the fuel neck you need to remove the gas cap then gently remove the rubber gasket from around the neck (either spin it off counter-clockwise or flip over the lip and pull straight up). I also have a question... how to remove the knobs for fuel and on/off? The choke has a set screw that is underneath the collar of the knob, but I cannot see how the other two knobs are held in place.

I recently bought a used Honda HS35. The first two times I used it, it started fine. After the last use the engine start switch was accidentally left in the on position for about a week. Honda HS35 won't throw snow [ 3 Answers ]

I have a Honda HS35 snow blower that won't throw snow. The rubber blades are a bit worn but I would think it should throw something. The machine also operates at a fairly low rpm and when I raise the rpm it will throw snow but just enough to get past the discharge chute. I want to buy new...

Honda Hs35 snowblower [ 1 Answers ]

Hi There; My hubby just picked up (literally) a decent looking blower. All of ours previously have been attached to tractors. I was wondering if anyone out there might have a manual they were no longer using or an unwanted spare manual to assist. He's good, but sometimes gets frustrated with...
