Abandonment for a wife and my son..
My name is grace Filipino citizen I am married to a foreigner a Us citizen.. we have one son 2 years old ,he is a us citizen too.. My husband left us since February 2010.. we have verbal agreement that we will follow him in Angeles city Pampanga once the school ended but eventually he make so much excuses about our relationship and not to move in Angeles Pampanga.. My son has monthly support that comes from the retirement of my husband from the US government and 12k a month for me but right now he is hiding already and have intention not to contact with us anymore and he said that he will not going to support me anymore.. My question is do I have the right to file him abandonment case since he never comes back to us and he will not going to support me.. should I have the right to demand for our support since he is capable to support us.. Kindly enlighten me,I'm so confused.. Thank you!

For the abandopnment and support, I am guessing you should check the law in the jurisdiction you are in. I do not believe that US law has any weight (aside from those in the US military) in your jurisdiction. Since your son is a US citizen, it is possible that the US embassy could be of assistance to him. Sorry, I can't really help beyond that.

You do need to consult a local attorney. Filing for abandonment is generally NOT what you want. Abandonment is generally a means to an end. What you want is to force your husband to support you and your child. So what you want is to enforce whatever support orders exist or to apply for support according to local laws.
