    Any advice?
    My husband has left me but he still files the tax jointly... we are not divorcedsince I can not find him . Any advice please?

    On the joint return, both of you must sign.

    I did not signed but when I asked the IRS for trnscript I found out that he filed joint.

    Then notify the IRS that you NEVER signed the joint return, then file Married Filing Separately.

    The IRS will then disallow the joitn return and maybe even find your husband for you.
