Installer Mistake / Wrong Orifice Piston
HI - Apparently when my installer put my new condenser unit in, he did not install the correct orifice piston inside my air handler. He just left the one that was already in there. As near as I can tell, the correct piston came with the new condenser but he did not see fit to install it in the air handler. According to the label on my outside unit, it should be a #82 piston and according to the label on my inside unit, it already had a #88 piston. Does anyone know what problems this could cause ? I had other issues with this installer and obviously would never use him again, but should I have this orifice piston changed ? Thanks - BILL
