    Rapid Water Loss through Cistern
I live in the country and have a 2,500 gallon cistern in my garage. The pump pumps the water through the house. The used water goes into my sewage tank. The solid remains in the sewage tank and the used water goes out to a field underground. For some unexplained reason lately I am losing water from my cistern and I don't know where the heck the water is going. There is no evidence of water leakage in the garage. My 2,500 gallons of water is usually used up in 1 month. During the last week I am going through the water at a rate of 1 to 3 days (with minimal water usage). Anyone have any ideas what the problem is?

    Thanks in advance -

    Sandy
