Why does dryer keep shutting down
Have an estate dryer runs for about 10 min then shuts off when cools down will start and run again for 10 min. Have replaced every fuse and new timer and motor, heating element is working fine and no lent build up anywhere. No short anywhere either any sugestions?

I have a ge electric clothes dryer that runs for a few minutes then shuts off.I just replaced the start /stop switch,dryer seems to bog down some when starting, but then it runs OK ,could the belt possibly be loose. Thanks
8 year old dryer Whirlpool started turning itself off. Worked fine until yesterday. Yesterday I was able to open the door and close it and restart it, but not anymore. Today it will start and shut off within 2 or 3 seconds.
