    Are you pregnant? It can happen at anytime, but it is fairly common during pregnancy to have some light bleeding or spotting for a couple of days after an exam or after intercourse for some women.

    If you feel it is more than just some spotting or it lasts longer than a day or two, best to let your doctor know. It could be just how you happened to respond to an exam, but it is always wise to let your doctor know of any bleeding if you feel at all concerned about it.
