    Pressure
    I have one shower in my house and it is upstairs. The house is new and the pressure coming out of the shower isn't that strong. Can I hook up a valve to my outside water outlet, measure the pressure and increase it accordingly so I'll have more pressure in my shower? I understand PRV's are preset but can be adjusted, is that correct and will it solve my problem?

    First try this. Unscrew the shower head and look inside. Turn the water on. Strong stream? Now look in the shower head and see a rubber washer with holes around the edge. This is a "water saver". Pry it out and toss it. Pressaure better now? Regards, Tom

    Hi . I recently re-piped the house from galvanized into cooper. Pressure it's much better then before but when two things go at once then it drops. City said that pressure is 55 and looks normal. Do you think it's a volume issue ? Volume can't keep up the pressure when too much drawn from the system? What should I do?

    DUDE,

    If you re-piped the house and but left the old galvanized water service instead of changing over to PVC then ,yes, you indeed have a volume problem. Regards, Tom
