    Ex-Felon Girl Blog
I committed a felony in 2005 at the age of 19 for fraud right after my father had passed away of Colon Cancer. I did not know how to deal with my emotions and took the anger and frustration out by writing a check to myself for $4,000.00 out of my mothers checkbook. I planned to run away and never look back with this money. Yes I know it was a completely stupid move but I was far from thinking clearly.
I have never stepped foot inside of a prison but I sure have been to jail and spent the worst 30 days of my life there. I have since worked very hard turn myself around. At the age of 23 I was able to get myself back in college and continue my education. I am currently taking businesses classes.
However I have big fears of my felony holding me back from many opportunities. And advice and help would be great. Thank you for your time and efforts in advance!
