    Testerone results
I have been suffering erectile dysfunction for some years and following a testerone test I was told I "scored" 13. THis doesn't mean a thing as all the reading information I have found quotes 800-1200 as normal.

    Can anyone shed any light?

To be accurate, I need to know your age. Testosterone levels are different for men and women (yes, women have testosterone too), but I know you are a man. They are also different for different age groups.

Also, are you taking any medication at all, including herbal supplements?

Apparently the score you were gived is by the Tanner Stage, however, I still need to know your age.

    In Answer to J_9

At present I am taking a good daily vitamin supplement (including Zinc 10mg and Magnesium (60 mg). Also EPA fish oil (2000mg per day), Damiana Leaves (900 mg per day), Burdock Root (850mg per day), Korean Ginseng (1000mg per day) and Gingko Biloba (120mg per day).

I also suffer from Ankylosing Spondilitus and take daily Glucosamine Sulphate and Chondroitin Sulphate supplements (900 mg combined).

Thank you. And your age is important also as the levels of the hormone vary with age differences.

If I'm not mistaken, A.S. can cause nerve damage in the lower back region, which can also contribute to erectile dysfunction.

Hmm, good thought OG, let me check that out!!

Oh, yes, I think you may have it!! Here is a site that explains it. Rather hard to read if you are not a medical professional, but it is pretty good, from Entrez PubMed.
