    Yes, it can be moved. Just to be careful where you decide to install. Some things you must take care is for example that the new place must not be a sunny place, or near a heat source like the stove or other appliance. You also be careful if you replace the wire or you just connect a new one after the old one, make sure thet you do connections right.
