My husband and I got a 3 month old pug puppy and she uses the bathroom in the house just after taking her out and she is pooping where she sleeps. She also has diarrhea for the past four days but it has been mucusy looking. What could that be from and how can I break her from pottying in the house and where she sleeps?

What are you doing when you take her outside? What do you do when she has an accident in the house?

It's all about teaching her what you expect, and what's not acceptable.

When you take her outside and she does her thing, lots of praise, and a treat. Make sure she knows that you're happy with her.

When she potties inside a firm no, and then take her outdoors, say your potty command, and wait until she potties outside. Lots of praise, a treat, and repeat when necessary.

It takes time and patience, but most of all consistency.

As for the diarrhea, it's time to take her to the vet if this has been going on for 4 days. It could be any number of things We can't give a diagnosis over the internet, so time to take her to the vet.
