Dripping faucet in tub after shower/bath.
The faucet on my tub randomly drips large amounts of water (not a slow leak, but a big 'sploosh' then nothing for a long time.) after taking a shower or bath. The water will also run for a little bit after you shut it off. (Water flow doesn't stop immediately.) What is causing this?

The water is draining down from the pipe that supplies the shower head. This will happen as diverter gets older and washer does not seal completely.
