Well water loses pressure. No pressure tank?

We have lived in our home for 2 years. We have no way of contacting the previous owner to ask about the well. It is a submersible pump and the only think above the ground is about a foot and a half of the pipe and cap. There is no pressure tank that we can find. Our old place had an actual well...

I have a 1955 well the pressure gauge is droping and the well turns on every 4 1/2 min. the valves are turned off, is the well bad or the pump ? Thanks for your thoughts. Gerry w.
With the power turned off to water tank, tank loses pressure fast

Foot valve has been replaced but now pump won't shut off all the time. When you turn power off tank loses pressure instantly.

My water tank is about 15 years old, the problem I'm have is that sometimes the tank will lose water and run until the tank pressure builts up and I have water again. After that it OK for a while. Also I can not water the lawn or use a water hose without the pump runnig the whole time?
Water central heating system loses pressure

The central heating system in my 50 year old home seems to be losing water pressure. We thought it might be due to some pipes that were running in a concrete slab and had leaked. We bypassed that, but now the pressure is still not holding. We see no leaks anywhere. Any ideas? View more questions Search
