If you don't have a copy of your final disposition paperwork that the Judge sgned you can go down to the Clerk of Court Criminal Division and get a copy for probably 25 cents a page. Then you will have exactly what the Judge signed in your hot little hand.

Monetary donation and charitable donation is essentially the same thing. Be sure to get a receipt for the money you "donated" to them and present this to the PO and be sure to give a copy of this to the Clerk of Court so it can be officially added to your Court file paperwork (just in case the PO somehow loses this paper).

I am sure the judge did not mean 1000 dollars of old clothes.
Also even if it was to be donation of property, it would be actual value * there is a program showing est value, not what you think it is worth.

But I would believe the 1000 dollar donation mentioned by the judge is to be money

So if you had some property you were going to "give" just sell it, and then donate the money. The money you sell it for would be basically the real value anyway
