    Is pregnancy a possibility? Are you sexually active?

    If not, it is common for young girls to miss a period every once in a while due to the hormonal fluctuations of adolescense.

    I agree with J, it is definitely common for the first few years of a period that its very irregular and you will skip a few or even go longer than normal.
