    Swag light on a track
I want to hang a swag light over a dining table. When I add leaves to the table I want to be able to center the lamp over extended table. Do I have to put multiple hooks in the ceiling to do this or is there a better way?

Finding a track with a slidable hook on it sounds impossible, so I would just attach another hook to the ceiling or a narrow wooden plaque with a hook on it. Too bad you can't just center the table when extended? Or just let the light be off center? Mine's off center and no one seems to notice.

Most track systems offer an accessory such as this from HALO, part number L961, a non powered hook, see attachment.

If you can determine what brand you have,I am sure you can find that they offer an accessory such as this.
