    Starting Kenmore fridge's icemaker for first time
    I have no manual for a new Kenmore side-by-side Kenmore fridge. How do I start the water & ice for the first time? Thank you.

    This model may be different but most of them have a flexible water line in the rear that will hook up to the water supply stop. Connect the water line, turn it on, check for leaks and then look in the freezer compartment for a switch, near or above the icemaker. Turn the switch on. Should run itself from there. Google the model # and look for an online manual.
