    Grandparents rights in adoption
    The adoptive parent died before signing papers granting me custody. What rights does thea godparent have vs biological grandmother?

    In my view there is no godparents rights there

    Wait... so where's the biological parent in this?

    Why was there an adoptive parent to begin with?

    Why weren't OTHER adoptive parents chosen?

    What's the whole story here?
