Water in the whole house smells like mildew.
Hi, I've been reading a bunch of Q and A's about water smelling like mildew. I'm a little out of sorts mainly because it seams as the though I have that mildew smell coming from all the faucets particularly the kitchen sink and the washing machine. I've also noticed that the cups and dishes have a coating on then after they are removed from the dishwasher which can't be washed off. Originally I thought it might be the water softener. We forgot to put salt in there (for a long while) and when I went to replace it, it was the same smell, but I've added more salt and the water hasn't changed. It's so bad that when you wash your hands they smell of mildew and the cloths and towels smell like mildew... If someone has any ideas please help!!
