    Children's book
I have been searching for this book for about 12 years ever since I started my own family. My father used to read it to me evry night and I could have sworn it was called a tale too terrible to tell, but I can't find it under that title. I think it was something about a boy and his grandfather on some kind of adventure where they got in all sorts of trouble. Maybe once even were inside a monsters stomach. And I think it ended up being just a story the grandfather was telling his grandson. And I'm pretty sure the grandfather said something about it being a tale too terrible to tell. Can anybody help me out? My father read it to me in the late 70s or early eighties... I don't know when it was published.
