Last time I heard anything, Marine Basic Training for the reserves is the same as for the active duty Marines. Boot Camp will be at either Paris Island, SC or Camp Pendleton, CA. It will be 3 months long. What I do not know is whether the Advanced Infantry Training is also mandated. With the Marie Corps. There are no shortcuts, period! |

I'm a female going to fort jackson on Tuesday for basic. Now I received a list of things to bring, but I've been reading I don't need most of it. And also I need to buy underwear, towels, and bras from basic? What do I really need to bring besides paperwork?
Why is it important to categorize the reserves of the subsidiary company into "pre-acquisition reserves" and "post-acquisition reserves" for purposes of consolidation? What do you think could happen if no such distinction is required in consolidation?

Hi, my folks have decided to try to learn computers :eek: . So I am hoping to find some really basic introduction training materials. Either a website with movies on or something to printo out and follow. Anyone have any good suggestions? TIA
