    Dental bridge
    Bridge done 14 years ago upper right side. Bridge became lose and I went to dentist who secured bridge. A few months later abscess on roof of mouth near front side of bridge. What can be done will I lose bridge? What can I do before going to dentist to help with pain.

    By taking a couple of ibuprofen before seeing the dentist and then continue with it for the next day or so after your treatment this can help with some of the discomfort.

    You may lose the bridge. Obviously there was some sort of problem with it for it to become loose in the first place. It may be time to have a new one made once the abscess has been taken care of.

    I am hoping that you have had the abscess addressed by now since it's been 13 days since your post!
