I liv in a ground floor condo & have received a lot of water damage from upper floor condo. The water always runs out of my heat/ac ducts, I always thought that those lines would be sealed but now I'm wondering. Could someone tell me if these pipes are sealed or what?
Heat and Cooling Ducts into New Addition

I am adding a new 12'x24' addition onto the back of my 24'x24' 2-story home(90 years old). The floor joists will run the same direction. Each existing vent is fed by it's own 6" pipe from the furnace. What is the best way to heat and cool this new addition? Can I or should I cut round 6" holes...

I just finished my basement and I want to use current HVAC ducts in the basemet for airconditioning. I have central air and I have some idea as to how I can accomplish that but I have never done this and would appreciate expert technical advice - right from tapping into the source to connecting it...
