Hampton Bay Fan Speed Control Switch
Hi - I have 2 Hamnpton Bay Fans that I would like to have speed control switches for. My electrician suggested that I contact you as to where I can purchase these controls. I don't want remotes, I want them so I can adjust the speed from the wall switch. Purchased 2 speed control switches, but they made a loud humming sound. The fans do not have lights.

I bought a Hampton Bay ceiling fan about two months ago. We typically leave it on the "low" fan setting. Today, it suddenly started changing fan speed to medium or high 30 seconds after we set it on the low setting. Any idea what could make a fan speed up that way?
