    First its not a good idea to piggyback your question on someone else's. This can lead to confusion. You should start a new thread. So I've moved your question to its own thread.

    Second, You really need to provide more info. On the face of it, you get an 8-16 port switch. And plug all your network devices into it. What more do you need?
