My kenmore dryer runs but won't heat.
I checked the voltage and it is at 240. I changed the element, cut off, and thermostat and still does not heat. I shortened the venting system and nothing. What could it be?

Their is more info that I need first you said you shortened the exhaust hose. Are you not getting heat or are you just not drying the clothes? Because if your not heating after all of the pieces you changed. You have narrowed it down enough for only two things left. As long as your getting the right power supply. The only two places that power for the element comes from is the switch on the motor and the timer you have to determine which one is not sending the power the way it should be and then replace the timer or the motor.

Thank you. Its not heating at all. Just blowing cool air. Its blowing forcefully though so I figure its not the vent system. How do I determine if it is the motor or the timer?
