My dryer is making a soft noise...
I have a Kenmore dryer. It recently started making a very soft noise, but it heats up fine when I pushed the start button (without clothes in it) What could be the problem? I don't want to use the dryer and have it catch a fire. Any suggestions as to what the problem may be?

 My GE Electric Dryer is making a strang "ching-ching" noise with each rotation. But there is nothing in the clothes that would explain this noise. (It is doing this with every load). It is drying the clothes fine, but the noise is very loud and annoying. What is wrong?
