    Black and white movie "Chicken Soup on a friday" or something similar. 196?
    Hi, Im trying to find an old Black and White movie I once watched on Channel 4, it must have been at least 10 years ago. I thought it was called something like "Chicken Soup on a Friday" it was about an entrepreneur dude who's wife ran a guest house which they had nearly finished paying the mortgage off on but unbeknown to her her husband had re-mortgaged it to support his latest soon to be doomed venture, but all ends well when the town rallies to there support. A colorful comedy with lots of sidelines and interesting characters popping up to add to this funny but gentle movie. I have no idea when it was made but suspect around the 60's but based in the maybe 40-50's? His latest venture was a mine of some sorts. Anyway any help trying to find the name of this movie would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.
