Harbor breeze fan 4 switch wiring?
Our fan cord came out we got the new switch but its look is different then the old one. We have yellow black orange and purple wires we matched them to the pictire we took of the old one. First tried color to L 1 2 or 3 the fan didn't work so we did it from the picture of where the wires where located compared to where the cord is at it still didn't work. Please help. The fan is only like 2 months old and we really don't want to replace it.

Isn't the fan under warranty after 2 months, I'd check on that first. It appears you did not get a Harbor Breeze OEM part, who sold you this switch?
