    How do I collect on a judgement form a divorce
    I am in Washington and he is in California. He was ordered to pay $11,000 to me at $350 monthly. He has paid the first payment but has not paid anything after that. I want his income taxes if I can get that. It's my ex husband so I have his last known address, his SS #. How can I get paid?

    Did you contact the attorney who handled your divorce and inform him of this non payment by your ex? You need to file a Contempt of Court Motion against the ex in the court where your divorce was granted.

    Yes, these work differently than judgements from other debts. Your first stop will be back into family court to find him in default of the payment
