    You need to supply more details because this does not appear to be legal. An eviction is the result of a court order. A landlord needs to file in court for an eviction order. That order is then served on the tenant by a sheriff (or similar) who then oversees the physical removal of the tenant AND their belongings.

    Before the landlord can get an eviction order, then have to serve notice to vacate. If the tenant does not vacate within the deadline, in the notice, the landlord then has to go to court for the eviction order at which time a hearing will be scheduled.

    It is possible but unusual for the court order to specify that the landlord can keep the tenant's belongings because the tenant owes rental. But that would be rare and would have to be written into the court order.

    So you need to detail exactly what steps the landlord has taken. If there is no eviction order issued by a court and the landlord has locked you out, that could be an illegal eviction giving you grounds to sue the landlord.
