I have a 5 year old kenmore 90 series quiet pak 1 heavy duty dryer w/ heat issues
I have a 5 year old kenmore 90 series quiet pak 1 heavy duty dryer that occasionally fires up (which I can see) but more often than not is not firing. A slight grinding sound can be heard at the moment of failure to fire, and one can see at this point a little glowing at bottom. Thank you

When the cycle is done the buzzer keeps going. The machine will not turn off when you rotate the timer knob back to a drying cycle. Is the starter button broken or jammed. I tried to spray it with Wd-40 and it worked a few times. Now I have to unplug the dryer to get it to stop.
I removed the top but could see nothing broken but suppose the culprit must be under the drum that's causing the problem. How do I access the problem? When you look inside you can see that the drum is resting at a slight angle as there's an uneven gap between the front and back rims and the drum....
