Heat not reaching upper floors
I have a 2 zone baseboard heating system (gas). I recently replaced one of the zone control valves because my upper floors were steaming hot and the lower floors were getting no heat. After doing so I now have no heat at all in the upper floors and very little on the lower floors.

I have forced heat and AC registers near the ceilings or in the ceilings of all rooms. Three rooms have high ceilings. Is there a tool which extends my reach so I can adjust the register vents without climbing on a ladder and using a mop or some other handle to push the register vent tab?
Its been about 2 years now since I've had this. My friend pointed it out to me last night and I said, that I've had it for 2 years and then she suggested I go see my GP about it. But it doesn't hurt, it just feels all rough when I run my hand over it. Even when its hot outside they NEVER go away...
Thermostat set at 75 but showing 65 in the house heat will run but turn off not reaching what is set on thermoststat turns off for 1 minute and turns back on not heating to maximum.
I had my wood floors removed from my kitchen and new tile laid. Unfortunately, there is mastic residue on the wood floors remaining in my family room. They are Bruce hardwoods a about 12 years old. How can I clean them?
