I am 17 days late. When I was 10 days late I went into the hospital and did a urine test, it came out negative. When I was 4 days late I spotted for 2 1\2 days. I know it was spotting and not bleeding because it would stop and go and was only there when I wiped. My body has been more active here lately. My stomach makes loud noises and a sharp pain will pass by my ribs. I bloat and cramp like I am going to start but it goes away within 20 minutes. I couldnt ask a dr. anything because I have to have an appointment but my insurance only covers birth control.

I was on Mirena for 2 1\2 years, I had it removed 4 months ago.
4 months ago I switched over to Yaz. I was on it for two months. I have been off it for 20 days.
I don't know if that means anything thought I would mention it.

It's possible that it was too early to test. Wait until your next period is due. If you skip it, test again.

It's also possible that you're having an off period because you just went off the birth control. It can take your body a while to get back on track.
