    I need to know to adjust the tev valve on a heat pump condenser
    Its ma again my heat pump in heat mode was having such high psig in both sl an ll the sl would max out the ll would trip out 575 psig I revery the refrigerant then vac it as low as I could get it then charge 10 pounds of refrigerant per the instructions I let run in the cool mode for a while the switch it to the mode the psig shot again I tap the tev on outside unit the psig drop about 50 psig then slowly rise back I tap the tev again the samething then I recover refrigerant again I vac again this time I took the check valve out of the tev valve by tapping on the tev I didn't count the number of turns to before I took th check valve out I front face as far as it would go then cc it out 4 turns vac again the charge it in the cool mode sl liquid charge the psig about right let irun a while then switch to heat the psig didn't shoot up again now how can I adjust if needed I know ill need to recover the refrigerant your help is appreciated thanks bo
