I'm a platinum blonde all over wanting to go darker all over
I have a short A-line cut that is platinum blonde all over. Wanting to go all over dark with avoiding a faded, ash, grey, look. What steps should I take and what is a filler?

To go darker from a platinum color, is a 2 step process... the filler is the first step. Dark hair has natural red undertones. This is why lightening your hair makes dark hair red, orange, then yellow as it gets lighter. To avoid the gray and green ashy look, you hair to put back, or "fill" in the missing red tones first. The shade of your filler depends on how dark you want to go. To go dark brown you would fill with red , light brown you would need a yellow orange color. This fill can be demipermanent. After its processed, rinsed and dryed you can apply the permanent color you want.
