    B&K shower drain instructions
I am installing a B&K slip on shower drain with a rubbber sleeve seal.
How high should the 2' trap tail piece br?
Should it be taller than the rubber sleeve?

    Thanks,

    Hi Dan...

Set the pipe so it is about 1/8 -1/4" higher than the rubber sleeve once it is all tightened down.

Does the manufacturer of your shower require you to install the shower base in a bedding substrate? Let me know...

PS: Tie a long string around the strainer wrench provided with the drain... lots of these drop into the drain while being used to tighten the inner nut (over the sleeve)
