Hi my name is Tamika and me and my Fience' have been together for 6 yrs. We recently just decided to try to make a baby. Around May 14th 2010 we had sex, and I got a period May, June, and July and after that I haven't had one since. I was lightly spotting in August for 2 days, I didn't see a period in September, in October I spotted again off in on for about 5 days, and now it's November an I keep getting these cramps and I haven't seen a period yet. Since the last 4 months I've been having these cramps but no period. I've tooking a home pregnancy test 4 months ago it came out negative, I went to a clinic a month later it was negative, I was in a car accident a month ago and the doctors took a urine test and it was negative. I don't know what to do next... I have never been on birth control so I don't understand what the problem could be. Could I be pregnant?? My Mothe and Grandmother told me that I might be one of those people who don't know that they are pergnant, and can be pregnant without having any syptoms an have False Negative Test Results... Is that possible?

Strange things happen sometimes.

I would go back to the doctor's and have a little chat about it. Ask for a blood test to check again for pregnancy. They will likely do an ultrasound as well to see if a cause for the irregular bleeding can be found. This will also either confirm or rule out a possible pregnancy.

If not pregnant, the irregular cycles may be a reason for the lack of success in getting pregnant. It sounds counter productive, but sometimes using birth control pills for a short time can help regulate cycles, so that may be an option.
