Furnace motor shuts off than restarts 1min later
I have a gas furnace from 1973 when I first start it in the morning it will fire up fine ,two or three minutes later the fan will kick in then 1 min later the fan will shut of then 1min later will start blowing again and run fine why does it shut off and turn back on like that

Furnace blows heat for maybe 1-2 min off for 30 sec and back on for 1 min or 2 and off for 30 sec... I took off wall thermistat connected both wire together and still on for 2 min and off for 30 sec again and again Help what I might check next to diagnos... thanks Jerry
