    Credit card complaint and summons
    I was recently served a complaint and summons stemming from a credit card debt. I have read that I both should and shouldn't contact the debtor. Having never been through this before, what should my next step be after I respond to the complaint?

    There are hundreds of threads here that discuss this. Generally you respond to the summons with an Intent to Defend then send that to the Plaintiff with a request for verification of the debt.
