    Spotting
    Hello, I am a female and I have been spotting for about two weeks now and it's a brownish and pink color. I am sexually active. And I'm 16. I'm not sure what to do because I don't want to tell my parents to take me to the doctor because they will possibly kill me if it has anything to do with pregnancy. Any ideas of what it could be or what I should do cause I'm a nervous wreck

    It really is something you should see your doctor for. It may be simply fluctuations in your hormone levels, which is not uncommon during the teen years. Obviously pregnancy would be a possibility and if that were the case you would need to know. It might be due to an infection of some type, and you would need to know that also.

    Are you due for a period soon? Are your periods pretty regular? You might try a pregnancy test ahead of time to see what results you get.
