    Did I break Hipaa?
    I have a patient at the clinic I work at was seen today. Her uncle is also a patient and was seen today. Did I break Hippa when I told her "your uncle was just in". I didn't say why he was in.

    No... they could see that much from the login sheet.

    HIPPA is geared to personal information. Which you did not reveal.
