    Hi Amanda, I guess you are in the middle of touchy situation because you may not know at this point if the young lady enjoys the company of other women or men, right ?

    I would suggest you invite her out for a coffee and just start normal conversation and see which way the wind blows. If she is receptive to your modest advances, then that would be great for you and you could then ask her out again and go from there.

    Start it out as a friendship, you'll get comfortable and its easy to talk.

    That's how my girlfriend and I got together, and honestly I don't think she saw it coming.
