    Fiancée and his child.
I am in the same situation with my fiancé! He "is not allowed to see his son" because his ex-girlfriend will not let him until he pays for EVERYTHiNG. Sending her as much money as he can just is not enough obviously. That is only because right after they split she got pregnant with another man and now she cannot afford the other child so she wants him to pay her every single penny he gets. That is his fault he was with such a low life whore, but he is still my fiancé and I would love to help him. I would have no problem with him paying for his every need if he had the child, but he "is not allowed" to see him AT ALL. Not by the courts, by her! She wants him to sign his rights over and for her new boyfriend to be his adopted father, but I do not think she knows that if he does that then he is not obligated to pay her a penny. I told him if that is what he wants to do then do it. In your situation.. If there is no one else to be a "father figure" he will not have child support lifted. She has to have someone else adopt the child.

First its not a good idea to piggyback your question on someone else's. This can lead to confusion. You should start a new thread. So I've moved your question to its own thread.

A mother cannot legally prevent a father from seeing his child if there is a visitation schedule in place. Is there one? If there isn't then why not?

But, if your fiancée wants out then tell the mother he would be happy to consent to an adoption.
