    What should I do?
Hi I am just 14 years old this year and I have been noticing that there are blood clots during my periods that are appearing quite frequently. I am quite small built but my metabolism rate is rather high.. Any idea what are the causes? :( :(

It is time to , talk to your mom ( assuming you have a mom at home) and perhaps have a check up at your doctor.

Thanks I went to the doctor the other time with my mom and the doc said I'm lacking of iron... however I think there's more to it since the clots are acting up :/

Those aren't clots I would imagine, but menstrual lining that can be pretty clumpy at times.
Please explain 'acting up.' Use Answer rather than comment.
Also did the doctor do a blood test to prove that you are anemic or was it just a comment that menstruating women need iron? You don't want to take it if you don't need it.
