    My whirlpool washer model #LA5668TXW0 does not agitate or spin
    It fills and empties fine

    If you hear a humming sound that would indicate the motor is OK, it may be the link between the motor and the transmission. There have been prior questions regarding this same problem so look for "similar questions"
